Receive appointment reminders, support group updates, workshop announcements, and information about CancerCare® services directly on your phone.

About This Program

CancerCare® sends optional text messages to help you stay connected to the free services and support you've requested. Messages are sent by CancerCare, the registered DBA of Cancer Care, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

What you'll receive

  • Appointment reminders for counseling, support groups, and Connect Education Workshops
  • Information about CancerCare programs, including financial and co-payment assistance
  • Follow-ups from your oncology social worker
  • Updates about your case management or financial assistance application

Message frequency

You'll receive up to 8 messages per month. Frequency may be slightly higher right after enrollment in a support group or workshop series.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. CancerCare does not charge for messages, but your wireless carrier's standard rates will apply.

After you sign up, you'll receive a confirmation text that looks like this:

How to stop or get help

Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe — you'll receive one confirmation message and no further messages from CancerCare. Reply HELP any time for support contact information.

Consent is not required to receive any CancerCare service. All CancerCare services are free of charge whether or not you sign up for text messages.
